Does ShopNora show live supermarket prices?
No. Comparisons use the last prices you recorded yourself at each supermarket. The recorded date helps you judge how recent they are. Shelf prices, offers and availability may have changed.
What happens when I scan a new barcode?
ShopNora reads the barcode locally and looks for a matching product saved on your device. If it is new, you add its name, size and price. Scanning does not fetch a live price or an online product catalogue.
Can I use ShopNora without an account or internet?
Yes. There is no account to create. Your shopping lists, saved products, barcode matching and recorded price comparisons work offline. You need an internet connection to download or update the app.
What is the difference between estimated and actual totals?
An estimated total uses the products, quantities and prices on your list. Your actual shopping total reflects the items you buy and the prices you enter while shopping. Check it against your receipt for the final amount.
Can I use currencies other than euros?
Yes. ShopNora supports multiple currencies. The examples here use EUR. Compare prices in the same currency; these examples do not perform exchange-rate conversion.
When can I download it?
ShopNora is coming to iPhone and Android. Store links will appear here when the app is available. A release date has not been announced.
Will my lists automatically sync between phones?
ShopNora is local-first and does not require an account. Automatic cloud sync is not part of the experience described here. Your device’s backup settings may affect whether app data is included in a device backup.
